BT 0 2 summaries for St Peter

The significance of Paul's conversion is that he used to be a big prosecutor of the Christians, and turned out to be a saint. This is significant because all of us do bad things in out lives, but if we turn to God, we can become very good people. The significance of the Council of Jerusalem is the legalization of Christianity. Without that council, we might not be followers of Jesus like we are today so that poses a lot of significance.
Paul
- was a tyrant who persecuted Christians
- Jesus appeared to Him
- Now he is a saint
Council of Jerusalem
- In Antioch
- Allowed straight conversion
- St. James the Less

250 word blog post on Fr. Barron explaining how Christianity still exists today

When Fr. Barron was explaining on how the Romans persecuted the Christiians for being Christians, he said things about how Nero the ruler was killing them and is now just a distant memory when Christianity has more than 1 billion followers. Fr. Barron saying "I think the Christians had the last laugh." That means that instead of the Romans still having an existant empire right now and having lots of followers, the Chrostians do because they had the right ideals and followed the right Messiah and not belaiving that the emperor was their God. In general, the Christians have the better group because we have lasted for 2000 years while Rome is just a distant memory of an empire.
